Therapy for Women Who Carry a Lot.
Therapy in Santa Rosa, CA and Across California Online
You’re the one everyone depends on.
There's always something that needs your attention. Someone who needs your time. And you show up for it, because that's what you do. You're good at it.
But somewhere in all that showing up, the question of what you actually need keeps getting pushed to tomorrow.
A lot of the women I work with describe running really well on the outside while something hums underneath the whole time. Sometimes it's anxiety that won't quit. Sometimes it's a life that's shifting in ways you didn't plan for. Sometimes it's just the weight of holding everything together for so long. Hard to name and easy to ignore when there's so much else to take care of.
And yet, here you are.
I'm Brooke, a licensed therapist in Santa Rosa, CA. I work with women who are capable, self-aware, and completely worn out. We figure out together what's actually going on, and we don't take ourselves too seriously while we do it.
Hi, I’m Brooke, a Licensed Therapist in Santa Rosa, CA
I became a therapist because I love people. I love watching someone awaken to their own strengths, start seeing themselves differently, and stop being so weighted down by everything they've been carrying. That moment when someone responds to life in a way they never could before, that's why I do this.
People tell me they feel genuinely seen in our work together. I hold hope for my clients even when they're not quite able to hold it for themselves yet. I'm warm, collaborative, and I don't force anything that doesn't feel right. This is your process and I follow your lead.
What to Expect Working With Me
I show up as myself because I believe the relationship between us is part of the healing. I'm not a blank slate and I don't try to be. I have a presence, a perspective, and a sense of humor, and I bring all of it into the room with you. Sessions are about you and your life, and who I am just shapes how we find our way through it together.
For a lot of women, this is the first time they've had real space to feel what's happening rather than think their way through it. That can feel unfamiliar at first. We go at a pace that feels manageable. Sometimes healing shows up in small moments, drinking your morning tea without your mind already somewhere else, taking a walk and actually being on it, responding to something differently than you would have before. Slowly, sitting with your feelings instead of outrunning them reveals what you actually need. That's where the real shifts happen.
We give space to all the parts of you, even the ones that feel like they're working against you. The part that shuts down, the part that overreacts, the part that's been protecting you for so long it doesn't know how to stop. We get curious about what each part is carrying and what it needs. You start to notice what emotions actually feel like in your body and what they're trying to tell you.
Healing isn't linear and it doesn't happen all at once. But over time something does shift. You stop fighting your emotions and start getting curious about them. You begin to notice when the past is bleeding into the present and you have more choice about what happens next. When something triggers you, you understand what's happening and you have real skills to work with. You start responding from who you actually are rather than from the part of you that's been on guard for a long time.

Supporting the Helpers
Helping others is sacred work and it's hard. You spend your days present with people, holding their stories, their pain, and their joy. That accumulates in ways that are hard to name and harder to shake. Come in and let someone hold that for you for a while.

Anxiety Therapy
Moving Through the Loop
Anxiety often feels like being stuck in a constant cycle of racing thoughts and physical tension. We get curious about that loop together. We work to loosen its grip so you can feel more grounded and present in your daily life.

Navigating Big Life Changes
When the Life You're Living Stops Fitting
Something has shifted and the life you're living doesn't quite fit the person you're becoming. A lot of transition work is grief before it's anything else, grieving what you're leaving even when you chose to leave it. We make space for that and slowly start figuring out who you are on the other side.
